Here’s the view from the top of the mountain:

Not a bad view – considering that it is in the middle of summer and most Japanese cities are covered with smog!

It was a scorching hot summer day.  I’m sure that the garden is much nicer in the spring.  If I have the chance, I’d like to visit again in the spring.

On the way back from getting our van serviced, we stopped by this park in Hakone.  We have been there several times in the fall, but we have never been there during the spring or summer.  We weren’t disappointed – there was a variety of wild flowers to be seen.
