[304] Nagasaki Peace Park

On the second day of our 6th anniversary trip, we went siteseeing in Nagasaki.  The first stop on our tour was Nagasaki Peace Park.

Nagasaki Peace Park was built to commemorate the atomic bombing on August 9th, 1945.

The park is famous for the Peace Statue:

Apparently the man is pointing at the threat of nuclear weapons with his right hand and his left hand represents eternal peace.
