Above is a picture of the Bosei Maru, Tokai University’s research vessel. I was a little surprised to see it because I have never seen it at sea.
An even rarer sighting is the cruise ship above – Asuka II which stops in Shizuoka once or twice a year. It is quite famous here in Japan because of the round-the-world cruises it makes.
Although it is a little hard to see, there is a ferry boat in front of the cruise ship. Surprisingly, the ferry is one of the biggest passenger ships in the area.
