In 2009, I have surfed at Katahama and at Shizunami, but I haven’t surfed at YOSHIDA yet. I have visited a few times, but haven’t stayed. Today’s forecast looked promising – probably everywhere would be good today because of the approaching storm.
The pictures are a bit misleading, but when the sets came in, the waves were quite big – about head high I’d say. As the tide came in, the waves got bigger. It was a great 2-hour long session. Just as I was getting ready to leave, it began to rain. Perfect timing!
